Testing Policy
No first-hand test results have been published on US-CyaBags.com as of August 4, 2026. This page sets out the method that will be followed once testing happens, so the standard is public before any result is.
How Products Are Purchased or Supplied
The default is to buy products at the seller's normal retail price, the same way a reader would. If a manufacturer ever supplies a product free of charge for testing, that will be stated plainly on the page the product appears on, next to the result, not buried in a footer.
How Supplied Products Are Disclosed
A supplied or discounted product does not become "sponsored content." It gets tested the same way a purchased one would, and the fact that it was supplied is disclosed at the point where the result is shown, not just in a general site-wide notice.
How Photographs Are Controlled
Test photographs, when published, are unedited originals. Capture date, camera, lighting setup and angle are disclosed alongside the images. No cropping to flatter one side, no retouching, and no shooting the "before" and "after" frames under different conditions.
How Wear Time Is Recorded
Wear time is logged from the moment a product is confirmed dry, at fixed checkpoints rather than a single end-of-day impression. The before-and-after test protocol lists the exact checkpoints planned for CyaBags.
How Makeup Compatibility Is Tested
Makeup compatibility is checked by applying a standard foundation and concealer over the product once it has fully dried, and noting any pilling, shifting, or residue that shows up over the following hours.
How Products Are Compared
Head-to-head comparisons use the same tester, the same lighting, and the same timing across every product in the comparison. A product isn't scored higher because it's the one this site earns a commission on. See the planned comparison method for instant eye tighteners.
How Affiliate Commissions Affect, or Don't Control, Conclusions
This site earns a commission on some purchases made through marked links, disclosed near those links and in the site footer. That commission has no role in test design or scoring. A product that performs poorly in testing gets reported that way, commission or not.
How Corrections Are Handled
Errors get fixed and logged. See the full corrections policy for how that process works.
See the Current Evidence Status
Every page on this site marks what's a manufacturer claim, what's ingredient-level evidence, and what's independently confirmed.
